God is in the details!!

Hola mis amigos!! 

This week was definitely a week of miracles! I have felt so much peace and comfort during my time in the mtc and I just want to start off by saying that I know God is in the details of our lives! He knows our thoughts and the desires of our hearts and wants to bless us as we turn to Him and His son Jesus Christ! I also know that Jesus Christ's grace is REAL and He can help you with anything you are struggling with in life because I know He has helped me feel joy and peace as I have grown my faith in Him!

On another note, we started Spanish immersion this week and it is a blast!! It's definitely an adjustment to try to learn Spanish in Spanish and our brains definitely hurt after 7 hours of total Spanish every day, but it has actually been going pretty well! I know the Lord is supporting me as I try to learn this language and through Him I can do anything! Please pray for me though :)

I've also been having a blast with my district! They are all so fun, wonderful, and spiritual and I have learned so much from them! 

Miracle:
Transitioning to full Spanish is definitely a difficult adjustment but every time I felt discouraged this week I felt the comforting peace of the spirit in my heart and I know that God is with me throughout this whole process!

Spiritual thought: 
In my studies this week I came across the scripture Ether 12:27 which says,
 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them" 
I love this scripture because being a missionary has made me realize how many weaknesses I have, but it has also given me a strong testimony that through the Savior's atonement He can strengthen me and I can do His work! I testify that God loves you and wants to bless you with every gift and blessing you desire as you turn to Him humbly and allow Him to change you! I love my Savior so much and I know His atonement can help you personally just like He has helped me!

Hola mis queridos amigos!!  I hope you're all doing well! This week was probably one of the craziest and hardest weeks of my mission so far, but I know God gives us trials and changes to help us grow so I'm really trusting in Him right now! We received news on Tuesday during interviews that my companion Hermana Barrott is getting transferred mid transfer and she's leaving me 😭  I've been on the verge of tears all week, and I am just going to miss her so much!! 2 Months in the Mission!!

Hola mis amigos!! I have officially been on my mission for 2 months this week, and I can't believe I'm already here! Adjusting to being a missionary is not an easy thing all the time. There are moments when I feel inadequate or lost with the Spanish or super tired or hot (it's literally so hot here haha) BUT I can promise that the joy of sharing the light of Jesus Christ outweighs it all! Jesus Christ and His atonement are what keeps me going, and I know with them I can face any challenge that are sure to come my way on my mission and in my life!  This week was full of so many miracles, and I can just promise that God is in charge of this work! He uses imperfect servants like me to complete His magnificent work, and I am just filled with Joy to be a part of it! Feliz Año Nuevoo

Hola mis queridos amigos!! 🥳🎆 Feliz año nuevo (happy new year)!! I can't believe it's already 2025!! As I was reflecting on this year I realized that I have been a missionary for half of 2024 and it is amazing!! The time has truly flown by which kind of scares me that the rest of my mission will do the same, but I am truly so grateful for every moment so far on my mission and the people I have been able to meet and serve and love! Being a missionary is not always easy, but it is truly the most fulfilling and joyfilled work anyone could ever do and I am so excited to spend 2025 continuing to serve the people of Spain 💛 Highlights/ Fun facts: - This week my companions and I have really been focusing on talking to as many people as we can during our travels because between balancing lessons with friends from both areas and also trying to work with the JAs (young adults) we don't have a ton of time in our schedule to focus on finding, and we have seen so many miracles!
