Blessed with the best!

Hola mis queridos amigos!!

This week has been the longest and shortest weeks of my life!! I said goodbye to my beloved Móstoles on Monday and on Tuesday I took a 5 hour bus ride with my travel comp Hermana Maughn to PAMPLONA!!! I also met my new comp Hermana Barrott and she is absolutely amazing!! We are SUPER similar so we have a lot of fun and we are ready work super hard so I'm soo excited for this transfer! We also live in a quad so we are roommates with another set of Hermanas (hna Dickey and hna Amado) and they are amazing!! I think I have laughed more in the past week than I ever have and I love it! Pamplona is absolutely beautiful and we have some really wonderful friends we are teaching and I just feel SO BLESSED to be here 💛

Highlights/ Fun facts:
- We taught our friend Nieves before English class on Thursday and our bestie Milagros from the ward helped us out and it was amazing!! Nieves is super prepared and she was giving so many amazing insights as we were teaching her the Plan of Salvation!
- We visited our friend Britney who is on date for mid december and her mom Perla and they are so cute! We taught them the plan of salvation and they loved it! They also came to church on Sunday and it was awesome!
- We were able to do official service for my first time here in Spain and it was awesome! We basically stood in the front of the grocery store and asked people if they wanted to donate to the food drive and collected their food if they did! It kind of felt like a bunch of contacting practice but it was so fun!!

Miracle:
On Saturday night we were doing calls for all of our friends that are interested but we haven't been able to meet with yet and I got to a woman named Maria who we haven't been able to contact for a while. I was thinking that we would probably have to stop teaching her for a bit because we couldn't get in contact, but I felt like I should call and just invite her to church and SHE ANSWERED!! She said thank you so much for inviting her and she came to church the next day!! She loved it (especially relief society) and she wants to keep coming to activities and the temple trip in January! We gave her a Book of mormón and we're meeting with her this week and I'm so excited for her!!

Spiritual thought:
This week I have been pondering a lot about what it means to be humble. I think for a long time I thought humility meant putting myself down or diminishing the talents I have or always pointing out my weaknesses so that I don't dwell on my strengths, but I was reading Ether 12:27 over again and it hit me that God gives us weaknesses so that we turn to Him and He can make us strong!! In reality being humble means turning to God and allowing Him to make us stronger not focusing on our weaknesses so we never grow or progress! I know that when we humble ourselves before God He will help us grow and strengthen us to make us more than we ever thought we could be!

Ether 12:27
And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.

I love you all so much!! Please feel free to reach out any time 💛
