"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"

Hola mis queridos amigos!!

As you could probably guess from the title, we received transfer news this week and I am leaving Móstoles 😢 I am so sad to be leaving this place and these people that I have grown to love soo much, but I am excited for the change and the opportunity to grow that I will have in... PAMPLONA!! Thats right, I'm going up North and I'm super excited!! My new companion, Hermana Barrot, was actually companions with Hermana Haslam in the MTC so I'm super excited to get to know her and serve together 😍

Highlights/ Fun facts:

- Last pday we had th chance to go up to Segovia which is a super pretty, old city here in Spain with our district!! It was so beautiful and I am just so grateful to be serving in this beautiful country!
- A lot of our friends that we are teaching live out in pueblos that we take a bus to get out to, so this week we ended up going out to at least 3 different pueblos and it was so fun! They are all so beautiful and it always so nice to get out of the city for a bit which reminds me of home a bit 💕 
- We had kind of a hard week with a lot of our friends canceling on us and things falling through, but every time we have a week like this, the Lord blessed me with a sense of peace and a reminder of my purpose for being here! I know there are people he is preparing for us when we pray in faith and follow the spirit (more on that in the miracle section)

Miracle: 

This week on Friday we had planned to go out to a pueblo to visit a part member family, but they hadn't been answering us that day and as we were going to the bus I just didn't feel super right about going. When we got to the stop, the bus didn't end up coming and we were going to have to wait an hour for the next one. We decided we needed to change plans for the day, and the idea came to my head that we should go to Navelcarnero (a different pueblo) to try and passby members houses there and try to meet with one of our friends. We went, and the first door we knocked didn't respond but we felt like we should knock again and a man opened the door! He said the woman we were looking for moved back to Columbia, but he was her uncle and he had met with the missionaries back in Columbia and when he moved to Spain he had lost contact and had been waiting for missionaries to come find him again!! He invited us to come the next week to meet with him and his wife and his 2 kids because we couldn't come in then with just thim!! We got his number and after we left we just had chills because it was so cool to see how the Spirit was guiding us to him the whole time!! 😄

Hola mis queridos amigos!!  I hope you're all doing well! This week was probably one of the craziest and hardest weeks of my mission so far, but I know God gives us trials and changes to help us grow so I'm really trusting in Him right now! We received news on Tuesday during interviews that my companion Hermana Barrott is getting transferred mid transfer and she's leaving me 😭  I've been on the verge of tears all week, and I am just going to miss her so much!! 2 Months in the Mission!!

Hola mis amigos!! I have officially been on my mission for 2 months this week, and I can't believe I'm already here! Adjusting to being a missionary is not an easy thing all the time. There are moments when I feel inadequate or lost with the Spanish or super tired or hot (it's literally so hot here haha) BUT I can promise that the joy of sharing the light of Jesus Christ outweighs it all! Jesus Christ and His atonement are what keeps me going, and I know with them I can face any challenge that are sure to come my way on my mission and in my life!  This week was full of so many miracles, and I can just promise that God is in charge of this work! He uses imperfect servants like me to complete His magnificent work, and I am just filled with Joy to be a part of it! Feliz Año Nuevoo

Hola mis queridos amigos!! 🥳🎆 Feliz año nuevo (happy new year)!! I can't believe it's already 2025!! As I was reflecting on this year I realized that I have been a missionary for half of 2024 and it is amazing!! The time has truly flown by which kind of scares me that the rest of my mission will do the same, but I am truly so grateful for every moment so far on my mission and the people I have been able to meet and serve and love! Being a missionary is not always easy, but it is truly the most fulfilling and joyfilled work anyone could ever do and I am so excited to spend 2025 continuing to serve the people of Spain 💛 Highlights/ Fun facts: - This week my companions and I have really been focusing on talking to as many people as we can during our travels because between balancing lessons with friends from both areas and also trying to work with the JAs (young adults) we don't have a ton of time in our schedule to focus on finding, and we have seen so many miracles!
