I Love My Life!!

Hola todos!! 

It was another great week here in Pamplona and I am just so grateful to be here! The work is moving forward and I am just amazed to be here as an instrument in God's hands!


Highlights/ Fun facts:

- We had exchanges in the beginning of this week in Bilbao and it was so fun! I got to hang out with Hermana Pedersen for a day and I learned so much from her! Also Bilbao is gorgeous šŸ˜ 
- We met with our friend Maria this week and she pretty much put herself on date!! She was asking us her questions as usual and she asked us "so what do I need to do so I can get baptized??" We told her she needed to take the lessons and keep coming to church and she said absolutely so we picked a date for January 3rd!! I love her so much šŸ’› 
- We had an amazing Sunday this week! All of our friends that are date came and we walked with our new friend Luisa in the rain from her house to the church and she loved it!! It just makes me so happy seeing the people I love taking steps to grow closer to their Savior šŸ˜

Miracle: 
We were on our way to a lesson and we missed the bus so we ended up having to walk so we were already late! As we were walking we passed a lady on a bench and I started to slow down and Hermana Barrott said, "should we go talk to her?" And I said yes and we went! Then when we got closer she said "no way!!" I recognized her as a lady I had called the day before from her profile picture!! We were able to sit and talk to her and she said she has been super lonely and prayed and then came out to sit on bench and then we walked by!! It was so cool because I know the Lord guided us to where we needed to be and gave us the prompting so we could be his instruments to answer her prayer!

Spiritual thought:

This week I was reminded that the Lord provides what we need through His Spirit in the moment we need it! Sometimes especially as a missionary I want guidance or impressions from the spirit when I want them, but I have been learning that all we need to do is trust in the Lord and act, and the Lord will provide!!

Hola mis queridos amigos!!  I hope you're all doing well! This week was probably one of the craziest and hardest weeks of my mission so far, but I know God gives us trials and changes to help us grow so I'm really trusting in Him right now! We received news on Tuesday during interviews that my companion Hermana Barrott is getting transferred mid transfer and she's leaving me šŸ˜­  I've been on the verge of tears all week, and I am just going to miss her so much!! 2 Months in the Mission!!

Hola mis amigos!! I have officially been on my mission for 2 months this week, and I can't believe I'm already here! Adjusting to being a missionary is not an easy thing all the time. There are moments when I feel inadequate or lost with the Spanish or super tired or hot (it's literally so hot here haha) BUT I can promise that the joy of sharing the light of Jesus Christ outweighs it all! Jesus Christ and His atonement are what keeps me going, and I know with them I can face any challenge that are sure to come my way on my mission and in my life!  This week was full of so many miracles, and I can just promise that God is in charge of this work! He uses imperfect servants like me to complete His magnificent work, and I am just filled with Joy to be a part of it! Feliz AƱo Nuevoo

Hola mis queridos amigos!! šŸ„³šŸŽ† Feliz aƱo nuevo (happy new year)!! I can't believe it's already 2025!! As I was reflecting on this year I realized that I have been a missionary for half of 2024 and it is amazing!! The time has truly flown by which kind of scares me that the rest of my mission will do the same, but I am truly so grateful for every moment so far on my mission and the people I have been able to meet and serve and love! Being a missionary is not always easy, but it is truly the most fulfilling and joyfilled work anyone could ever do and I am so excited to spend 2025 continuing to serve the people of Spain šŸ’› Highlights/ Fun facts: - This week my companions and I have really been focusing on talking to as many people as we can during our travels because between balancing lessons with friends from both areas and also trying to work with the JAs (young adults) we don't have a ton of time in our schedule to focus on finding, and we have seen so many miracles!
