We Three Queens
Hola mis queridos amigos!!
I hope you're all doing well! This week was probably one of the craziest and hardest weeks of my mission so far, but I know God gives us trials and changes to help us grow so I'm really trusting in Him right now! We received news on Tuesday during interviews that my companion Hermana Barrott is getting transferred mid transfer and she's leaving me š I've been on the verge of tears all week, and I am just going to miss her so much!! I'm going to be a trio with Hermana Dickey and Amado though so I'm super excited for that!! TRIO TIME!!
Highlights/ Fun facts:
- We had zone p-day in Bilbao this Monday and it was so fun!! We all got matching sweaters as a district and it was so fun! We also did a white elephant exchange and a gingerbread house making competition and the matrimonios made us a delicious Christmas dinner which was so fun!!
- We also had zone conference on Tuesday which was amazing!! I always love the trainings we get and the four of us the quad sang "What Child is This?" for the musical number which was soo fun!!
- We had our friend Brittany's baptism this Saturday and she was so cute!! She was just smiling so much as she got out of the font and she gave the cutest testimony!!
Miracle:
We met with a guy named Leafar this week over videocall and he was someone who responded to my Facebook post about English class and he said he was interested in the church too!! We started teaching him and he is so amazing!! Then he left the screen for a minute and came back with a book of mormon!! He was so excited to show us that some missionaries had given it to him in his country before he came here!! We were so surprised and excited! This was such a reminder to me that as missionaries we are always planting seeds and even though we don't always see the fruits, they will come!
Spiritual thought:
This has honestly been a hard week for me in feeling animated to do the work, but I have come to truly appreciate my Savior and His atonement! As we lean on Him, He can strengthen us and give us grace when we fall š
I invite you all in this Christmas season to learn a little bit more about our Savior and His atonement! I promise as you turn to Him, his grace has the power to hold us up and give us the strength to move forward with hope and JOY!!
I love you all so much!! Please reach out I love hearing from you!!
