And Then There Were 2

Hola mis queridos amigos!!

Happy 3 Kings day!! The past three weeks have pretty much been straight holidays here in Spain and we finished it off we three kings day today!! It has been so cool to get a glimpse into Spanish culture and celebrate in a different and beautiful way!! We also got transfer news this week and it was crazy!! Hermana Dickey is leaving us for Madrid and Hermana Amado and I are staying here in Pamplona to run both areas!! Our trio is down to 2! We are excited for the challenge to keep both our areas alive and keep the work progressing here in Pamplona! We would love as many prayers as we can get though ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’›

Highlights/ Fun Facts:
- This week we had an awesome call with our friend named Alejandro who I found through Facebook and he is amazing!! He has such a desire to learn more and I'm so excited to keep helping him progress!
- We had the baptism of our wonderful friend Maria Mercedes this Friday and it was amazing!! It was a little stressful making sure she got her interview done and everything but it ended up being a beautiful service and she was just glowing!
- We got to meet with our friend Carmen in person this Saturday who lives about an hour away and we had a super awesome lesson with her! Even though we ended up having to meet in an old western bar/ diner type of place the spirit was so strong as we taught about the restoration and it was so cool!
- We were walking to a member's house on Sunday night and we happened to be walking through the huge parade for 3 kings day! There were so many people out and the floats were super cool!!
- We visited a family in our ward today from Nigeria and they fed us fu fu!! We ate it with our hands and it was super cool! They are some of the humblest people ever and they were so happy to share their food and their home with us! I love them ๐Ÿ’—

Miracle: This week was a little bit stressful making sure everything got done in time for Maria's baptism and then on Friday morning, she texted us and said she was worried because she felt like she didn't know enough to be baptized. But later in the day I was able to have a call with her and calm her down a bit and at the end I told her to pray and promised her that God would give her the strength and comfort she needed to move forward. And... she came early to the church saying,  "Hermanas I prayed and God told me I needed to be baptized and here I am!" I love her soo dearly and it was a testimony to me that this is God's work and He knows each and every one of His children individually ๐Ÿ˜Š

Spiritual Thought:
I am finishing up the Book of Mormon and right now I am in Mormon and I came across this verse that I absolutely love!
Mormon 7:8,
"Therefore repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus; and lay hold upon the gospel of Christ, which will be set before you"
Truly one of the most beautiful parts of being a missionary is watching as the people I love truly lay hold upon the gospel of Christ and the way it changes their lives! I know that following Jesus Christ brings more peace and joy in our lives than anything else!
I invite you all to find a way to lay hold upon the gospel of Christ in your life a little more this year and LIVE IT! And if you aren't sure what His gospel is, I urge you to study it and learn more (and always feel free to reach out with questions) I promise you that you will find JOY in Him ๐Ÿ˜Š

I love you all so much!! Please feel free to reach out any time ๐Ÿ’›
