Miracles and New Adventures!

 Hola mis queridos amigos!!

Another great week serving the Lord and this week flew by!! It was my first full week here in Bilbao and we saw so many miracles! Even though at times it is hard finding balance with all our responsibilities, I have veen constantly reminded this week that this is truly God's work as we did our best to work diligently, we continued to see miracles and reach our goals šŸ˜Š

Highlights/Fun facts:

- We started the week off super sunny which was so nice! We were able to do some studies outside and have a picnic after district council which was delightful! I am so excited that we finally made it to spring and everything is coming alive again!
- I had my first exchange as an STL this week and I was honestly pretty nervous because I had only been in my area for about three days and I was going to lead out our exchange, but it went great! We had a lot of fun and I just loved getting to know Hermana Fairbanks and serve with her for a day ❤️
- Our new friend Andrea came to our game night on Wednesday and I was able to chat with her a lot! We had a lesson afterwards and she is so cute! She doesn't really have any experience with God and religion, but she has a desire to learn! It is so amazing being able to teach and testify that she has a Heavenly Father who knows and loves her and will listen to her prayers šŸ™
- We had a lesson with our friend Bri this Thursday with Hermana Juana and the spirit was so strong! We were teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ and we felt like we needed to invite her to be baptized. She accepted and now she has a baptismal date for May 17th! The spirit was so strong and we are so excited for her šŸ˜Š
- On Friday the Elders had a baptism of one of their friends and our friend Itzel was going to come to have a lesson before but she ended up coming just in time for the baptism. She stayed for the baptism and then our friend Naidelyn came right after for her lesson... We decided to have a lesson with both of them and teach the Plan of Salvation and it was so powerful! The spirit was very strong and they both loved it!
- We had a videocall planned with one of our friends and a member was going to join us, but she ended up cancelling last minute and we were bummed. I felt like I should call our friend Kelly who we haven't been able to contact for a bit and she answered! We were able to have a great lesson about Jesus Christ, call the member to have her testify, and set up a time to go visit her in person next week! It was awesome šŸ˜Š

Miracle:
Last week our recent convert Lizbeth called us and said she had talked to a woman on the bus who was interested in her religion! She was able to teach a bit about the restoration and ask her if she could send us her number! Then on Tuesday she sent us her number and we called her! Her name is Gladys and she is so cute! We had a great lesson with them both on Wednesday and then they came together to church on Sunday! Gladys loved it and already wants to meet again this week! It was a testament to me that anyone can be a missionary and we are all a part of this great work!

Spiritual Thought:
This week I have been thinking a lot about what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. As I have served my mission, I have realized the importance of not just following Christ with our mouths, but with our actions as well. I have learned that a true follower of Christ doesn't just testify of Christ with their words, but chooses to follow Him with the way they treat others and serve unselfishly, and always chose to love! I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that as we follow Him in words and actions we will become true disciples of Him and feel the joy of becoming like Him šŸ«¶

I love you all so much and please let me know how you're doing šŸ’—
