Walking Hand in Hand

Hola mis queridos amigos!!

Another great week here in Bilbao and the work just keeps on moving! My new companion Hermana Bailey got to Bilbao on Monday and we got right to work! We have a lot of goals and plans for this transfer and I'm just so excited to see what God has planned for us and our friends šŸ«¶

Highlights/ Fun facts:
- On Tuesday we went out to visit the cutest Hermana Rosa and her family who just moved here and she made us a delicious meal! Her neice is actually being taught by the Elders right now and she got baptized this Sunday!!
- I called our friend Kelly on Tuesday who we haven't been able to meet with in a bit, and she answered! As we were talking I asked if we could meet and she said she's not going to be home because she has to take her daughters to school in the city and she doesn't get home until late, but it turns out that her daughters go to school right next to the church! We were able to meet with her 2 times during the week in the church and as we showed her the sacrament room she was just in awe and said she felt so much peace ☺️
- We had exchanges on Thursday with the Hermanas from Pamplona and it was so fun! I was with Hermana Anselmo and we saw so many miracles and had a blast!
- We saw so much success with our activities this week and it was amazing! We had the biggest English class we've had yet on Thursday and then on Saturday we finally had a sunny day and we had so many friends show up to our sports activity and it was so awesome!
- We had a cute picnic as hermanas with Leire on Saturday and it was so cute! We sat out in the sun,ate lunch and chatted and I just loved it! Leire is adorable and I just love her so much!

Miracle: On thursday Hermana Anselmo and I went out to contact people in the streets and we talked to quite a few people, but none of them were so interested. BUT, on the way back to the church we saw a woman and I just decided to ask her if she wanted to bear a message about Jesus Christ and she said yes!! Her name is Marilyn and we had a great conversation and she invited us over to share our message with her daughters as well! So we went over on Saturday and we had a cute lesson with them! They invited us back over next week and said they want to come to church!

Spiritual Thought:
During my personal study I came across this scripture and it described how I have been feeling this week!
Isaiah 41:13
"For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee."
As I have gone through this week there have been times where I have felt pretty overwhelmed with all of the responsibilities I have right now and my desires to fulfill them well, but as I read this verse, I was reminded that as I include the Lord in every part of my life, He will take me by the hand and lead me! I do not need to feel as I walk hand in hand with my Savior and that gives me so much peace and courage to keep moving forward!
I invite you all to turn to the Lord for help in your life and allow Him to guide you because I promise you will have more joy and peace as you trust in Him!

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful week and please feel free to reach out any time!!
