I love my life!

Hola mis queridos amigos! 

Another great week here in Torrejón, and we saw so many miracles once again! God is just blessing us so much as we keep working hard and trusting in Him!


Highlights:
- On Monday we went to Alcala and did a beautiful hike where we got to cross a river and it was so fun!!
- We had a lesson planned with a new friend Monday night and we invited a recent convert named Scheki to join us. In the end our friend ended up not being able to come BUT Scheki had brought his 11 year old neice who was interested in learning more!! We were able to teach her a cute little lesson and set up another time to meet again!
- On Monday night we met with the cutest member named Yovana and she took us to dominos!! It was so fun and I loved getting to know her better!
- We had exchanges this week with the Sanse hermanas and I got to be with Hermana Fuimaono! She is from New Zealand and this is her second week in Spain! We had so much fun in Torrejón!
- On thursday we visited a less active member named Angie who is working on coming back to church and she is sooo cute!! Hermana Schoetz did her nails and we were able to share a message with her! I love her so much 😊
- We had MLC on Friday and it was soo good! I loved seeing all of my besties again and spending more time with the Eastlands before they leave! We also were able to make some good plans and I'm excited for what the future holds in our mission!
- On Friday we met with our friends Lina and her daughter Isabella and they are so cute! We talked about faith and repentance and they have such a desire to learn and improve which is so cool to see!
- On Saturday we met with our friend Vicky and we planned to teach her about the gospel of Jesus Christ! As we were teaching her about baptism we got the strongest impression to invite her to be baptized!! We extended the invitation, she accepted and now she's getting baptized on August 2nd and we are so excited for her!!

Miracle: 
On Saturday a woman named Beverly came to our English class and after the class I started talking to her! She ended up being interested in what we do as missionaries and we invited her to church the next day and she came with her 8 year old daughter Shania!! They loved church, we were able to meet with them after, and they want us to come over again this week! It was awesome!

Spiritual Thought: 
I just want to testify of the power of covenants! I know that as we make promises with God we are binded to Him and we have His strength and Spirit with us! I am so grateful for the opportunity to help people make these covenants with God and see the change that comes into their life through the power of Jesus Christ's atonement 🫶

Hola mis queridos amigos!!  I hope you're all doing well! This week was probably one of the craziest and hardest weeks of my mission so far, but I know God gives us trials and changes to help us grow so I'm really trusting in Him right now! We received news on Tuesday during interviews that my companion Hermana Barrott is getting transferred mid transfer and she's leaving me 😭  I've been on the verge of tears all week, and I am just going to miss her so much!! 2 Months in the Mission!!

Hola mis amigos!! I have officially been on my mission for 2 months this week, and I can't believe I'm already here! Adjusting to being a missionary is not an easy thing all the time. There are moments when I feel inadequate or lost with the Spanish or super tired or hot (it's literally so hot here haha) BUT I can promise that the joy of sharing the light of Jesus Christ outweighs it all! Jesus Christ and His atonement are what keeps me going, and I know with them I can face any challenge that are sure to come my way on my mission and in my life!  This week was full of so many miracles, and I can just promise that God is in charge of this work! He uses imperfect servants like me to complete His magnificent work, and I am just filled with Joy to be a part of it! Feliz Año Nuevoo

Hola mis queridos amigos!! 🥳🎆 Feliz año nuevo (happy new year)!! I can't believe it's already 2025!! As I was reflecting on this year I realized that I have been a missionary for half of 2024 and it is amazing!! The time has truly flown by which kind of scares me that the rest of my mission will do the same, but I am truly so grateful for every moment so far on my mission and the people I have been able to meet and serve and love! Being a missionary is not always easy, but it is truly the most fulfilling and joyfilled work anyone could ever do and I am so excited to spend 2025 continuing to serve the people of Spain 💛 Highlights/ Fun facts: - This week my companions and I have really been focusing on talking to as many people as we can during our travels because between balancing lessons with friends from both areas and also trying to work with the JAs (young adults) we don't have a ton of time in our schedule to focus on finding, and we have seen so many miracles!
