"He's still there! Thing 1 that is..."

Hola mis queridos amigos!! 

This week was so miracle filled and I am soo grateful!! We had so many spirit filled lessons and found some really amazing people to teach! I have just felt so much JOY in this amazing work that I get the chance to do! I am grateful for the Spirit that guides me and testifies of truth to both me as I testify and my friends as they search for it!

Highlights:
 - This week we had a crazy encounter with a guy wearing a shirt that said Thing 1 on it and it's become a joke between me and my companion now that we're searching for thing 2! That's where the title came from šŸ˜„ 
- We met with our bestie Vicky 4 times this week and she is doing soo well! We were able to teach her about temples and tithing and help her prepare for her interview and I'm so proud of how well she is progressing!!
- We met with our cutest recent convert Miguel this week and he is so sweet! He is preparing himself to go to the temple and just loves to learn!
- We visited the cutest girl from English Class last week named Karen and her adorable baby 2 times this week and she is soo cool!! She is planning on reading the Book of Mormon in her daily study time everyday and she came with her husband to church on Sunday and they loved it!!
- We had 2 calls with our friend Juan and he's progressing so well! In our last call he asked us, what steps do I have to take to become a member of this church and we said we've got an answer for you!!
- This week we had exchanges with the Azuqueca hermanas and on our way there the train took too long so it was too late for Hermana Robinson and I to make it back to torrejon so we had a fun sleepover in Azuqueca! Then we headed back to Torrejon the next day and we had a great day together ☺️
- On our exchange we met with a cute woman Ana in her house and we taught her about Jesus Christ and the spirit was so strong! She has some family that live with her there too and she said the next time she will have them join us!
- This Sunday we had a huge miracle because so many of our friends came to church!! We had 6 wonderful friends come and I was just filled with so much joy!! I am so grateful for the opportunity to help people draw closer to Christ and watch them make sacrifices and changes to do so!

Miracle: 
On Friday our lessons in the evening canceled so we decided to go try and contact people in the park! While we were walking we saw this adorable mom named Tuaney and her super cute baby! We sat in the grass and taught her a lesson about God and she told us she knew she needed to hear our message that day! Then we met the next day in the church, and she came to church on Sunday and loved it!!

Spiritual Thought:

This week I just want to testify of the power of the Book of Mormon to comfort, guide, and teach us through the Spirit! Several times this week as I felt stressed or worried or just a little bit discouraged, I opened my Book of Mormon, began to read, and immediately found relief! I know it is the word of God and gives us peace because it draws us closer to Jesus Christ! This week I invite you all to take a little extra time to study the Book of Mormon and notice the impact it has on your day šŸ«¶

Hola mis queridos amigos!!  I hope you're all doing well! This week was probably one of the craziest and hardest weeks of my mission so far, but I know God gives us trials and changes to help us grow so I'm really trusting in Him right now! We received news on Tuesday during interviews that my companion Hermana Barrott is getting transferred mid transfer and she's leaving me šŸ˜­  I've been on the verge of tears all week, and I am just going to miss her so much!! 2 Months in the Mission!!

Hola mis amigos!! I have officially been on my mission for 2 months this week, and I can't believe I'm already here! Adjusting to being a missionary is not an easy thing all the time. There are moments when I feel inadequate or lost with the Spanish or super tired or hot (it's literally so hot here haha) BUT I can promise that the joy of sharing the light of Jesus Christ outweighs it all! Jesus Christ and His atonement are what keeps me going, and I know with them I can face any challenge that are sure to come my way on my mission and in my life!  This week was full of so many miracles, and I can just promise that God is in charge of this work! He uses imperfect servants like me to complete His magnificent work, and I am just filled with Joy to be a part of it! Feliz AƱo Nuevoo

Hola mis queridos amigos!! šŸ„³šŸŽ† Feliz aƱo nuevo (happy new year)!! I can't believe it's already 2025!! As I was reflecting on this year I realized that I have been a missionary for half of 2024 and it is amazing!! The time has truly flown by which kind of scares me that the rest of my mission will do the same, but I am truly so grateful for every moment so far on my mission and the people I have been able to meet and serve and love! Being a missionary is not always easy, but it is truly the most fulfilling and joyfilled work anyone could ever do and I am so excited to spend 2025 continuing to serve the people of Spain šŸ’› Highlights/ Fun facts: - This week my companions and I have really been focusing on talking to as many people as we can during our travels because between balancing lessons with friends from both areas and also trying to work with the JAs (young adults) we don't have a ton of time in our schedule to focus on finding, and we have seen so many miracles!
