Where do I even start??

Hola mis queridos amigos!

My companion and I switched our pday this week to Wednesday so that we could go to the temple so that's why I'm writing today and I am sooo excited! It has been so long since I have been to the temple and I cannot wait!

We also got transfer news this week and... I'm training!!! Me and my new companion are going to white wash (neither of us have been there before) into an area called LogroΓ±o in the North and I'm so excited! It's going to be a challenge and I'm definitely so sad to be leaving TorrejΓ³n after I just got here, but I am so excited to have a new experience and grow so much for my last few transfers ☺️

Highlights:
🌊🌊 Vicky got baptized!!! Our bestie Vicky who we've been teaching the whole transfer got baptized this Saturday and it was such a beautiful service (my wonderful comp even agreed to sing with me)! I am just so proud of her and all of the decisions she has made to make it to this point! I'm sad to be leaving her so soon after but I'm so grateful I was able to be there to celebrate with her ❤️
- Last week we went out to a pueblo called Coslada to meet our friend Olenka! She is super sweet and wants to grow closer to Christ! She has a Book of Mormon from the hermanas who taught her before and she's even been reading it!
- We have a volleyball activity every Thursday and this week we had quite a few people come! I got to chat with a girl named Andrea and she is soo cute! As we were talking she asked about when we have church and what we do as missionaries and I was able to explain and she said she was interested in meeting again and coming to church!
- Last week I starting talking to a guy named Diego on Facebook who was interested in learning more about God! We met with him in the church and he shared that he had never been to church or read the scriptures, but wants to start now! He came to church on Sunday and we met with him again this week. It is so cool to see someone humbly take steps towards God and I am so proud of him!
- We visited our besties Angie and Ian a couple times this week and on Friday we went to make carrot cake and ended up bringing ingredients to make them our favorite lunch! I love her soo much and saying goodbye was super hard but I know that part of the reason I came to TorrejΓ³n was to meet her and Ian πŸ«Ά
- Yesterday we had time put in for finding in the streets in the afternoon. When the time came to go out we were thinking about how hot it was and there probably won't be anyone out, but I really felt like we should go so we did. We get to the park and there was hardly anyone there but we started talking to this lady who was standing in a fountain with her dog and she was super nice! Her name is Vanessa and we got her number and she said she wants to meet this week and come to church!

Miracle:
This Friday we had English class and a woman named Jenny who I had invited to church one of my first weeks here in TorrejΓ³n came to class! I started talking to her and invited her to the movie night we were having right afterwards with the ward! She decided to stay and as I was sitting by her, she started to ask me some deep questions about life after death and our beliefs in the church! I explained the best I could and then asked her if she wanted to meet the next day so we could explain more! She said yes, and the next day we had a super spiritual lesson about the Plan of Salvation and the peace it brings us! Then she came to church on Sunday and she's super interested in meeting more!

Spiritual Thought:
This morning while I was in the temple I just felt sooo much peace! I feel like sometimes in life it can be easy to get caught up in the to-dos or the responsibilities that we have and lose sight of the bigger picture! Especially as a missionary it can be easy to get complacent with the amount of prayers we say every day and the constant presence of the Spirit, but today in the temple I was reminded who really is in control of it all, my Heavenly Father! I was reminded of His infinite power and influence in the world but more importantly in my personal life every day!

I invite you all to take some time to go to the temple and reconnect yourself to your Heavenly Father and be reminded of His reality in your life πŸ«Ά

I love you all so much and I would love to hear from you!!
