My heart is full!
We had an awesome last week of the transfer! This transfer has absolutely flown by and I have loved it! Training has helped me grow so much this transfer, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be serving here in LogroΓ±o with my comp for another transfer!
Highlights:
- On Wednesday we met with the cutest member named Gilda! She is so faithful, but for circumstances she is not able to come to church very much and she's been starting to feel a bit distant from God. One day she was accompanying her boss' family to church and one of them turned to her and said, "I thought you were mormon? Are you changing your mind?" She told her of course not, but felt a bit off. That same afternoon we texted her to meet and she said it was a sign from God that He hasn't forgot about her and who she is! Then during the lesson I felt like we share a scripture from Alma and she said, "no way you're sharing a scripture from Alma!!" She has a huge love for Alma and said it was a testimony to her that God knows her

- On Wednesday we met with our friend Thomas and his grandma Adiela, and during the lesson while we were reviewing the gospel, Thomas turns to us and says, "I want to be baptized by someone that has the authority from God!" We were floored and so excited! We made a plan with his Grandma to help him prepare and he has a baptismal date for next month!!
- On thursday night we were finding in our favorite park and we just kept getting rejected over and over again. I told my companion, let's do one more go around and then we'll head home. As I said that the cutest family walked by us, and as we walked back into the park we saw the mom sit down on a bench! We went to talk to her and she was so cute and interested! We sat on the bench and taught her about Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon and she loved it! Her name is Ana Maria and we're going to meet with her again this week! It was awesome!
- This Saturday we taught our friend Fai about the Plan of Salvation and she absolutely loved it! One of my favorite parts of the mission is watching people's faces as they find answers to questions they've had their whole lives and the joy of understanding the purpose of their lives! It's the best

- We went to Bilbao on Sunday for stake conference and it was the best!! I saw all of my besties from my past areas, Pamplona and Bilbao and it made me so happy!! I sat in there and just felt so much overwhelming love for all of the people that I have met on my mission that have changed my life!
- On Sunday we went to visit our new friend Iris who we met on the bus a few weeks ago and were finally able to go meet! She is adorable and super willing to listen and learn more! She told us she wants us to come over again and she'll make us baleadas

Miracle:
On Thursday we had planned to meet with our friend in a park, but she hadn't confirmed that day and we were pretty sure she wasn't going to be able to come, but we felt like we still needed to go to the park, so we walked all the way over there. As soon as we get there we see a lady on a bench and decide to talk to her! Her name is Sally and we sat on the bench and taught her about the Book of Mormon and our church! She said her mom had joined the church in Peru and invited us over to visit her in her house later in the week! Our other friend never ended up coming and we had to leave the park right after, but it was so cool to see how God had guided us there just to meet Sally

Spiritual Thought:
Something that really stood out to me this week in my studies and our lessons is how grateful I am for ongoing revelation! We don't have to try and interpret the Bible all by ourselves and hope we get it right because God is still guiding us with a prophet in His restored church! He is still a God of miracles and blesses us every day!
"And now, O all ye that have imagined up unto yourselves a god who can do no miracles, I would ask of you, have all these things passed, of which I have spoken? Has the end come yet? Behold I say unto you, Nay; and God has not ceased to be a God of miracles" (Mormon 9:15)
I know God is still guiding us with His prophet and guiding us personally every day and He continues to work miracles in our day!!
I love you all so much! Please feel free to reach out
