So unbelievably fast!

Hola mis amigos!!

I can't count the amount of times my companion and I said to each other, "This week is going so unbelievably fast!!", hence the title haha Truly this week flew by and it was an awesome one!

Highlights:

- This week we got to go visit the cutest member named Angelica who we helped open her door last week and it was so cute! We went and had breakfast with her and her 2 little boys and was so sweet and wholesome! I love them!

- On Thursday we were having kind of a rough day because all of our lessons cancelled and everyone kept rejecting us in the street, but as we were about to start heading home, I saw 2 women and felt like we should talk to them! We kind had to follow behind them for a bit, but we eventually caught up and started chatting! They turned out being super sweet and interested in coming to church! The mom doesn't live here but her daughter's name is Yuvelis and we got her number to invite her to church!

- On Friday we got up and got straight in the car to drive down to Soria Soria is the town about an hour and a half south of Logroño in our area that has a group of members that have recently started meeting together in a hotel there! We spent the entire day there meeting with members and friends and it was so fun!

- On Friday night we met with our new friend Ronald who lives in Soria in the matrimonial couples house and it was an amazing lesson!! We taught him about the restoration and he loved it! The spirit was so strong as the Herreros testified and it was so awesome!

- This week we taught our friends on date Fai and Thomas about the word of wisdom and they are soo faithful! I am just so amazed by their willingness to accept the commandments that God has given us and change their lives to follow Him

- This Sunday the Relief society had their meeting all together and all of the hermanas came and filled the room! It was amazing!! And thankfully that was the Sunday we decided to pass around a meal calender so we are going to get to go visit so many awesome families this month and I'm so excited!

Miracle: This week we finally got to go visit our friend Olga who we met in the street a few weeks ago and she's awesome! When we got there, her son Mario Roberto was there as well and he was pretty interested! They told us all about their experiences with the missionaries back in Honduras and they were getting so excited to keep having us over to make all sorts of food for us and they were so excited to have their own Book of Mormon again!

Spiritual Thought: This week I was reading in the New Testament and I came across a verse in James 1:22 that is quickly becoming one of my favorite verse to share with our friends!

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

This is soo important!! We can go through the motions and hear the word of God that makes us feel good, but if we don't truly act on what we hear and believe that we are just deceiving ourselves and missing out on the blessings of living the gospel! I invite you all to try this week to be a more of a doer and less of just a hearer of the word! I know God will bless us with more joy and a sense of purpose and we apply His guidance in our lives
