21 and General Conference!

Hola mis queridos amigos!! 

This was an amazing week full of miracles and growth! This week I turned 21 years old which is pretty crazy and got to listen to general conference which was amazing!! We found  some exciting new friends and had some setbacks with others but overall it was great week!

Highlights:

- On Monday the cutest member named Margarita had us over and taught us how to make columbian arepas and they we delicious!! She is just the sweetest and always hypes us up and we just left feeling so filled spiritually and physically 

- On Tuesday morning we got to go to a member's house named Arturo to help his grandma with some cleaning that needed to be done! We don't get that many opportunities here in Spain to do service so I absolutely loved it! She is the cutest little Spaniard woman and made the yummiest Spanish lunch as well! 

- That night we were out contacting in the park and I wanted to help my companion practice doing contacts by herself! We practiced a few times and then we started talking to people and I just sat back and watched as my companion realized how much she truly knows! I was worried that the people we talked to would be rude or impatient, but the first lady we talked to was a less active member who invited us over and the rest were so sweet and patient and kind! It was so wonderful to see my companion feel the joy of being a missionary and and I know that God was listening and answering my prayers 

- On Thursday we went back to Olga's house and ate lunch with her family! They are all so cute and sweet and the food was incredible! 

- On Friday we went to Bilbao for exchanges and it was so fun! I got to run it back with my past companion Hermana Amado in my old area and I loved it! We had a great day of reminiscing, visiting the cutest member who made us delicious venezuelan food, and teaching some lessons! I love Hermana Amado so much  

- Our friend Carola fell and broke her ankle this week which was pretty devastating for her, so we went on Saturday to visit her and Arturo came to give her a blessing! She was so grateful for the visit and it was awesome to see the power of the priesthood bless her life!

- On Sunday I turned 21  In the morning we went to the sweetest member Cristian's house to watch conference with him and his awesome girlfriend Clarissa! Cristian came with us to pick up our cute friend Thomas who came to watch with us! Cristian had bought him a notebook to take notes on the conference and it was so cute!!

- On Sunday night we went to Luciana's house to watch conference and they threw me a birthday party!! It was so sweet and I felt so special! I love their family 

Miracle: 

This week on the way back from Arturo's house we were on the bus and I saw this lady sitting next to us so I decided to start talking to her! Her name is Yuri and she is so cute!! She was super interested in learning more and growing closer to Jesus Christ and baptism! We met with her again in the park on Thursday and she brought her husband Nelson! They loved the lesson and even watched conference!! I'm so excited for them 

Spiritual Thought: 

This weekend as I was listening conference I decided to try and focus on what the Spirit was trying to teach me through the messages I listened to. It was amazing as I took a minute to ponder about what I heard and how it could apply to me and the questions I had, the Spirit taught me and gave me personal answers! I know that personal revelation is real and as we seek it, the Lord with guide us through His Spirit
