Time Flies!
This week was our last week of the transfer and I just can't believe we're already here! This transfer has gone by incredibly fast and I have loved every bit of it! We got transfer news this Saturday and my dear sweet companion is leaving to Madrid
We have had so much fun together and I have loved watching her grow and experiencing so many firsts again through her eyes! I will be spending my last transfer here in LogroΓ±o with my new companion Hermana Thompson and I am so excited! I have come to love this place and these people so much and I am excited to give it my all this last transfer
Highlights:
- On Monday night we went to visit a member named Noelia and her 3 daughters and they're so cute! Her youngest daughter Dana is a ball of energy and she kept us entertained the whole time

- We went and visited our friend Mayra in her apartment this week and the cutest member named Iris joined us! She is the sweetest and we had a great lesson with Mayra! She is ready to grow closer to God and do the work to get there!
- On Tuesday night a cute JA named Fernanda took us out to dinner at a pasta buffet and it was so fun! She is absolutely adorable and it was so fun!
- On Thursday we met with the cutest girl named Maribel who we met on the bench and couple weeks ago and we had such a sweet lesson! She is so humble and I love helping people say their first prayers and have their first experience with God!
- Clara!! We met with her on Friday and the best member, Charo, helped us in the lesson! She is soo open to learning more and loved learning about the Restoration! She came to the activity on Saturday and church on Sunday and made friends! I love her

- On Wednesday I started talking to 3 cute girls that come to our English class named Marlen, Oliana, and Abbin and just asked if they had interest in having a tour of the church and meeting sometime! They agreed and on Friday we met in the church to give them a tour and they met a ton of members! Then they came to the activity on Saturday and to church on Sunday miraculously! They texted us Sunday morning and said they were going to be late and they weren't sure if they would make it, but they decided to come and as they waited at the bus station the cutest member couple Clarissa and Cristian came and called a taxi to get them all to church!!
- On Saturday we had our Dia de las naciones activity where everyone brings food and presentations to represent their country! We had so many friends come and it was so fun!
- This week the cousin of a cute recent convert (Marlen) who had visited our ward a few weeks ago named Tania reached out to us saying that she had recently moved to LogroΓ±o and wanted to come to church!! She came this Sunday with her husband Reinaldo and they loved it! An hermano also came up to them after and it turns out he's the one renting them their piso so we had a great conversation and they will be coming back!
Miracle: On Friday morning as we were planning the day I just felt like we should go to the library to study which we have never done before. My companion didn't question it so we took the 20 minute walk there and did our studies, and as we were leaving this young man stops us and asks if we're the mormon missionaries. His name is Andres and it turns out that he had just done an exchange year in Utah and had lived with a member family! He said he was bummed that he had left his Book of Mormon in Madrid and I immediately gave him the one I always have with me, we chatted about his favorite chapter (Jacob 5) and got his number! He was so excited to tell his host mom that he had met us and we were so grateful we had listened to the Spirit that morning

Spiritual Thought: The past few weeks I have been thinking about and working to improve my prayers! I have said every prayer since the start of my mission in Spanish and though I am grateful for the practice it has given me, but in Zone Conference President Grow counseled those of us who have more time in the mission to start practicing praying in English again! Although it has been hard switching, I have been grateful for the way it has allowed me to approach my prayer with more intention and preparation. I wanted to share this quote from conference I read this week,
"Perhaps we should shift our mindset away from simply saying our prayers to taking sufficient time to really commune with and “be with God” each day." (Elder Eyre)
I invite you to take the time to prepare for your prayers and make them be a moment to be with God and I know you will feel His love, guidance, and peace with you

I love you all so much and I hope this week is amazing!
