Last Zone Conference

Hola mis amigos!!

This week flew by and was full of a lot of sentimental feelings, freezing lessons, and joy ๐Ÿ˜Š We had zone conference at the beginning of the week so we drove down to Madrid and got to be with 2 other zones so that was super fun to see everyone! Then I drove all the way back up to Logroรฑo and we got right to work! It is officially winter here in Logroรฑo so we had a lot of freezing lessons out in the wind and rain, but it was a great week!

Highlights:
- I had my last Zone conference on Tuesday and it was soo good! I love being a missionary and being a part of this glorious work!
- After driving all the way home from Madrid Tuesday night, we went straight to Clarissa's house for dinner and Marcela (one of our friends) was there! We were able to have a good chat with her, and I just love Clarissa ♥️
- On Wednesday we had a call with our friend Mayra and we taught her the plan of Salvation! She was super receptive and I love how clearly the Book of Mormon explains the plan and teaches us what we need to do to return to God's presence!
- On Thursday we went to visit Carola again and had a super great lesson! We talked about baptism and invited her to be baptized, and she accepted!! It will be a bit of a journey to get her prepared, but we are so excited for her!!
- We visited so many amazing members this week and I just absolutely love them! I always feel so fulfilled being in their houses and feeling the spirit there! We also went to visit Conchi's family on Sunday and her daughter was there with her non-member boyfriend!! We were able to have a super spiritual lesson about the Book of Mormon and it was great!
- We met with Marlen, Oliana, and Abbin again on Friday and had an awesome lesson! They ask the most deep questions and it is just amazing to see how they truly want to learn and apply what they learn in their lives!
-  We met with Yuri again 2 times this week and she is absolutely amazing!! We taught her about all the commandments and she is so willing to change her life to be able to be obedient to what God has asked us to do! It is going to be a process as well getting her ready for her baptism, but I just love her soo much!!
- On Sunday, an awesome member named Andrea brought a friend to church named Alexander! He said he absolutely loved the meeting and wants to continue learning more! So cool!
- In church on Sunday I got to sing a musical number with Clarissa and it was so fun! I love being able to bring the Spirit through music ☺️ Also on Sunday, Thomรกs received the aaronic priesthood!! Then when we were sitting in the row taking the sacrament, he passes me the tray and says, "I'm practicing for next week!!" He is so incredible and I am so proud of him!

Miracle: This week while we were doing some street contacting, I felt like we should talk to this girl on a bench. I asked her if she believed in God and she said no and usually they dismiss us with that and it's just another rejection, but the Spirit told me to ask her why. She told us that her parents are catholic, but they had let her decide her religion and she just hadn't picked any. I was able to share with her how my belief in God and understanding of His plan for me has blessed my life so much and she was very respectful and engaged. Her name is Rosa and she ended up agreeing to give us her number so we could send her the information of our church. I don't know if she will choose right now to act and learn more, but I know a seed was planted and that conversation changed me. First, I am so grateful for parents that taught me about God and helped me grow my faith from a young age and second, my testimony grew so much sharing with her what I know thanks to my faith in God. I know He is real. He loves us and has a plan for our lives. We just have to choose to seek and follow Him, find answers, and BELIEVE ๐Ÿซถ

Spiritual Thought: I just wanted to share a quote today that I loved from general conference that goes along so well with our conversation with Rosa and our ability to choose to believe!!

"Saying “I choose to believe” makes it easier to receive a witness from God. If we find our testimony weakening, remember that it is the choices we make that diminish the power of the testimony. But the testimony has not gone anywhere. We just need to choose to reconnect with it.

Choosing to believe is a wise and powerful way to use our agency."
- Elder Kevin G. Brown

This week I invite you all to choose to believe and do something specific to reconnect with your testimony!

I love you all so much and I hope you have an incredible week!
