This is the Lord's work!

Hola mis queridos amigos!! 

Another great week that absolutely flew by and I am honestly so grateful for this week. It hasn't been the easiest, but it is exactly what I needed. This week God reminded me that this is His work and I just need to trust in Him. There are so many parts of missionary work and life that are out of our control, and that's ok! This week I was reminded that all we have to do is seek the Lord's guidance, be obedient, do our part, and trust in Him 

Highlights:

- On Monday night we went to visit our friend Mayra in her piso and the sweetest member Iris accompanied us!! We had an awesome lesson about the Plan of Salvation! 

- On Tuesday we visited the cutest members who are twin sisters and both named Karla! They fed us the most yummy food and we chatted and it was great! They told us the story of how they met their husbands (who are brothers by the way) and got married on the same day!! It was awesome  

- On Wednesday I got to go on exchanges with the cutest Hermana Petroni and it was soo fun! She is soo sweet and told me all about Italy (where she's from). We had some good street contacts and lessons and I loved spending the day with her  

- On Friday morning an hermana who lives out in Arnedo asked us to come out and help her move! We jumped on the opportunity to serve and drove out to help her! It was so fun getting to know her and helping her get her new piso all clean and ready to move in!

- On Friday night we had a lesson with new friend Claudia and her daughter who brought a friend as well as our cute friend Oliana and Hermana Sucy who came to join us! We found a place for all of us to sit and talk and it was honestly an awesome lesson with so many people which was great!

- That night we rushed to the church for our ward movie night where we watched Coco! So many of our friends came to watch and chat and it was honestly super successful!

- On Saturday we met with our bestie Yuri in the park and Hermana Luciana came to join us!! We taught her about baptism and felt like we should invite her to be baptized and she accepted!! She needs lots of prayers so that everything will work out for her baptism at the beginning of next month, but we are so excited for her!!

- On Sunday we walked upstairs for sacrament meeting and we saw our friend Carola who has been trying to come to church for weeks after suffering an accident was there with her whole family!! She was so excited and said, "Hermanas! I told you I would come!!" I love her 

Miracle: 

This week we had a miracle where the Spirit led us to help one of our dear recent converts who is really struggling! We have been trying to get in contact with her for a while, but she would never pick up the phone or answer. On Tuesday I really felt like I should call her and she picked up sobbing  we were able to say a prayer with her and then when we stopped by her house with a treat later in the week she miraculously answered and let us in! She told us that when we called her it was a really hard moment and our prayer gave her the peace that she needed 

Spiritual Thought: 

Yesterday we were reading the Book of Mormon in a lesson with a few of our friends and one of them asked us what the word "redimir" (redeem) means and as I was explaining it to her and studying later on, it really hit me what it means that Christ is my Redeemer. He literally paid my debt and with His sacrifice, I am set free! All we have to do is turn to Him, and He has the power to set us free 

33 And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon, save it be by the punishment of the law at the great and last day, according to the commandments which God hath given. (Mosiah 7:33)
