Working like a dog!

Hola mis queridos amigos!

Another great week and it flew by! My companion and I worked soo hard this week and we saw so many miracles! We were able to meet with so many of our friends and members, and we earned our pillow every night! All I can say is God answers prayers, miracles are real, and I love being a missionary

Highlights:

- On Tuesday we were not having a ton of luck finding but we decided to say a prayer and contact people in the park. Immediately after our prayer we start walking and talk to Monica! Shes a cute lady from Romania who was interested in learning more so we shared a message with her and set up a time to meet in the church!! It was so cool to see how God answers our prayers so instantly sometimes!

- On Wednesday we met with a cute lady named Paulina from Argentina who we met in English class! She loved the church tour and even came to church on Sunday! We have her a Book of Mormon and when she found out it was a gift just for her she hugged it and thanked us so sweetly! We are excited to keep meeting with her!

- On Thursday we met with our friend Nelly and her friend Sucy who is a member! Nelly has been on the fence about baptism because she doesn't feel prepared and we had a super spirit-filled lesson where we ended up inviting her to read the Book of Mormon every day! Sucy says, "If you read the Book of Mormon you will get baptized!" And nelly said, "I think your right!" So pray for Nelly and her Book of Mormon reading!

- Last week we ran into our cute friend Olga who Hna Telford and I street contacted our first transfer but she ended up being too busy to meet. She told us that she found a better job, has more time, and would like to meet!! We got to have a really good chat with her and we're going to start meeting every week!

- This week was filled with getting Thomas ready for his baptism and he is so excited! His mom came to our lesson on Wednesday and was so proud of him for passing his interview! Then we had a lesson on Saturday and Cristian and Clarissa miraculously came to the lesson! Cristian was able to help Thomas feel confident about his baptism and we invited him to fast about it! We also asked the ward for any extra church clothes or suits for him and on Sunday it was so cute to see all of the hermanas giving him clothes and he left with 2 full bags of new church clothes Then as we were leaving after church I asked him how his fast was going and he said, "I got my answer!!" The spirit had whispered to him that he was doing the right thing and he was so excited! I love him

Miracle:

On Tuesday we were finding in the park and we hadn't had a ton of luck, but I saw a guy on the bench and felt like I should talk to him. I don't usually go up to men first to contact them, let alone men with earbuds in and a cigarette in hand but I decided to follow the prompting. His name is Frank and he turned out to be super interested!! He came to church on Sunday and as we were walking up to the sacrament meeting he told us that this was his first time going to church in his whole life He loved the meeting and got to meet a few members so we are hoping to meet with him again this week!

Spiritual Thought:

This week I just want to talk about the power testifying has to build our testimony. On Sunday during our gospel principles class we were talking about the atonement of Jesus Christ and at the end the teacher asked if anyone wanted to share their testimony. I felt like I should share and I just simply testified about the power Christ's atonement has had in my life, I felt a wave of the Spirit wash over me and I felt so much peace! Then We had fast and testimony meeting and watching everyone share their hard earned testimonies made me realize how powerful it is to share and testify! My testimony has grown so much on my mission as I have shared it and I invite you all this week to seek an opportunity to testify of a truth you know and watch as your testimony grows
