All In God's Hands

Hola hola!! This week was soo busy and it flew by which is kind of crazy! We started off by going to downtown Madrid for pday with our district and it was so busy and beautiful! Then we had interviews on Tuesday with President and Sister Eastland, and they are so awesome! We spent the rest of the week having some great lessons with friends and working to help them progress! We also did a lot of traveling this week on the buses and metros because we have some friends that live a little further out from Móstoles, and honestly we were blessed that all our travel worked out (for the most part). The buses are not super reliable here, but every time we really needed it to come it was there even if we had to have the faith to wait for a little while! Also on Friday we had a little picnic in a park for lunch which was so fun! (I didn't get any pictures though)  Also quick update on the Spanish, sometimes it's hard to see that I'm improving, but I am learning to have patience in the...

I Love Madrid!!!

Hola mis amigos! This week was awesome! We started off last monday with our zone preparation day in Madrid, and we had a huge water balloon fight which was honestly so nice because it's still super hot here! We also went back to Madrid the next day for my residency appointment, and I was kind of nervous to handle it in Spanish, but I got to be with another Hermana during our appointment and it was great! We even got to share about our purpose here as missionaries with our worker, and he was super nice and respectful! Also it turns out we share birthdays so that was fun! We also had the opportunity to do exchanges this week which was super cool! I got the chance to go to Carabanchel (in Madrid) with Hermana Robinson and it was an amazing experience to learn from her and meet some wonderful people! There were several moments that Hermana Robinson would turn to me to share a thought with someone and as I started to speak, the Spirit brought a scripture to my mind or a story to share t...

2 Months in the Mission!!

Image
Hola mis amigos!! I have officially been on my mission for 2 months this week, and I can't believe I'm already here! Adjusting to being a missionary is not an easy thing all the time. There are moments when I feel inadequate or lost with the Spanish or super tired or hot (it's literally so hot here haha) BUT I can promise that the joy of sharing the light of Jesus Christ outweighs it all! Jesus Christ and His atonement are what keeps me going, and I know with them I can face any challenge that are sure to come my way on my mission and in my life!  This week was full of so many miracles, and I can just promise that God is in charge of this work! He uses imperfect servants like me to complete His magnificent work, and I am just filled with Joy to be a part of it! We started off the week going to Madrid for Zone conference where I got to see some of my besties from the MTC and meet a bunch of missionaries which was awesome! We also had some great trainings that were super appl...

A week of miracles here in Móstoles!

Image
Hola mis amigos mejores!! Well everyone, I finished my first full week here in Móstoles, and I can officially say that I am in the best place doing the most amazing work possible and it is incredible! Even though there are definitely hard moments, I have seen God's hand directing His work and I just get to be a witness to His miracles! This week was awesome! We were able to find a lot of super amazing friends and share messages with them about our Savior Jesus Christ and God's plan for all of us and I just love it! It's also been SUPER hot this week, but I'm happy to report that I have not yet melted and "hace mucho calor!!" (It's super hot!) makes for a great conversation starter so I'm grateful for that! My Spanish is coming along slowly but surely, and it is so cool to witness God helping me understand a little more every day!  Even though adjusting to being a missionary or to any new situation or challenge in our life is not always easy, I can test...
